Many service providers offer depos direct-to-DVD using DVD recorders. The end user has few choices: click on play, navigate preset interval chapter selections (every 5-10 minutes for ex.), and click on menu chapters created when proceedings went on /off the record. Image and sound quality vary; you are stuck with whatever you get. Playback compatibility of the disc with DVD players or computer DVD drives may also be an issue. Our deposition videos are simultaneously recorded digitally on DV tape and firewired to a hard drive. This allows us the flexibility of finalizing your recording exactly how you want it in post-production. Whether you need a playable DVD, mpeg format, sync to transcript, or even prepared for internet streaming, we can make it happen.
